About
Born in the Cayman Islands, I grew up playing hockey on anything that wouldn't melt, and developed a lifelong passion for the sport. Today, I combine that love for the
game with my experience in graphic design, social media
management, and photography to create dynamic digital content
that builds fan engagement, celebrates athletes, and grows the
game for the next generation.

Why Sports Marketing?
Teams don't only represent themselves, but they represent their cities and countries, respectively. Sports marketing enables organizations and their athletes to create an identity they are proud to embody-driven by dedication, passion, and leadership. An inspiring organization, to me, carries those traits into every aspect of operations, from the ice to the office. Through intentional marketing and storytelling, athletes can take pride in their image, knowing the spotlight positions them as role models for the current and next generations.

At the same time, sports create community through shared experiences (good and bad) that strengthen human connections beyond the game. By showcasing athletes’ journeys and achievements, sports marketing inspires cities to dream bigger, work harder, and see what is possible when passion meets perseverance.
This Year
During the pursuit of my Master's in Sports Management at the University of Michigan, I was able to work with the amazing Michigan Men's Club Hockey team.

I was immediately taken by the community within the team as well as the authentic love for hockey in its truest form. Starting from zero online presence, we were able to create an online identity from scratch that grew tremendously in just one season. Because the team is student-run, I wanted the members to feel a true sense of ownership over their image. My goal for the page was for nobody to be able to tell who exactly was running it, and for it to feel like one combined voice of the team as a whole.

During this time, I fell in love with sports photography. At first, the photos were out of necessity to produce the graphic designs we needed, but over time, they became just as impactful to me as the media management and design. My photography represents to me taking the initiative to try new things and invest in my craft. I made the sacrifice and found myself in Ohio (Go Blue) for 40 minutes to pick up a camera off of Facebook Marketplace, and started researching lenses that would get the job done. I rented the appropriate lens and gear for every game, practice, and media opportunity. It was always nerve-wracking knowing that I had to get things right quickly, but I put in the practice and found that I was able to capture the emotion of the game in a way that was new to me.
Every time I think "I've never done that before," or "What if I don't know how to do that?", I remind myself that I very well might not know how, but I have every skill necessary to figure it out. Everything I know now is just a series of things that I once didn't know and worked hard at.
